My son has a Samsung Tab 3 Kids which he uses everyday. Today as he was watching videos on it, the screen went black, but the sound was still on. I knocked and slapped the device with my hands a few times and the screen came back up again. But after a few minutes later, the same thing happened. The sound and all of the buttons was working as usual, even the screen was responsive. Plugged in the charger and it was working as well. And as i was trying to figure out what was wrong with it, i happened to press the bottom-right side of the screen (horizontally) with quite a pressure, the screen came back up for a few seconds and it went off again. I tried to press the spot again with the same amount of pressure and the screen was on (again) and it go off as soon as i took my hands of the spot.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it? Is it the digitizer? LCD? Or something else? It doesn't look like a digitizer problem to me because the touch functions normally. And i dont know if it's the LCD because there's no color or line or other weird anomalies on the screen. It's just that the screen goes black and comes on again if pressure is put on the bottom-right of the screen.
