14 months ago i dropped my s7 edge and it landed on rock, the external screen broke but the internal one was fine and the colors were fine
As months passed by i started noticing a thin pink line appearing on the screen, with time the pink line was expanding left and right and currently it's covering up around 20% of my screen and blocking my view even tho the touch screen was fine
On October 2018 the screen stopped turning on by the power button nor the home button, i figured by the end that i have to press on top of screen, right between the camera and the samsung logo in order to turn on the screen while simultaneously pressing the power button
But now it's getting worse and i'm unable to turn it on unless i press really hard on that spot
The weird thing is; if someone texts me the "content hidden" message on the top of the screen pops up and the screen turns on just fine.
I went to Samsung customer services and they said i need a new screen but a new screen here costs around 224$ around 70% of its current price so i'm just looking for a way to solce this without paying that much.
I know this is weird but has anyone had this problem?
