I own a rooted Alcatel OT-918D Dual-SIM mobile. For me, it's an ideal phone. I use an old Genion S SIM with my virtual landline number and a 100min / 100SMS / 500MB contract. Additionally I also use the VoIP client of Android 2.3.5. All of this works well!
Unfortunately all apps I found in the play store (eg Driodstats) do not differentiate calls according to the SIMs. Always the sum of all call minutes (SIM1, SIM2 and Internet) is evaluated. However, data required for appropirate evaluation are available (see attachment).
1. Does original Android 2.3.5 support Dual-SIM functionality? If so, where are the detailed call informations stored? I tried Call Logs Backup & Restore, there is no detailed SIM data available.
2. If there is no genuine Dual-SIM support, there must be an dual SIM Android extention programmed by Alcatel. Does anybody know how to access the required data?
In my opinion, accessing the data, filtering data according SIM1 or SIM2, rounding up to full minutes and summarize the minutes should deliver the desired information. I'm aware, in this case I have to initiate the calculation manually. I don't want to waste the free call units, SMS and data are not important.
