So, being the forward thinker I am, I bought a Motorola Defy Pro XT560. A QWERTY Android phone that came out in Canada last year, and just recently started popping up on Ebay. It's water, dust, and shock proof, has a hardware keyboard, SD Card Slot, and isn't huge(my list of requirements for a phone).
Trouble is, it runs Gingerbread. Now, it's actually quite peppy once I used Link2SD and Droidwall to limit what apps can do what. My concern is future apps and compatibility. Specifically Google Voice related apps, as I use that to make calls/text primarily.
Is there a place to go to request ROMS? Seems kinda unlikely...or should I just try and research building my own..somehow?
