This is regarding a Nexus 4, but I know it applies to any screen.
i got a new Nexus 4 from google 4 days ago. I haven't even removed the plastic on front or back, but today for the first time I notice there are tiny streaks of color (like when there's a greasy smudge) on the screen. 99% of them are perfectly vertical. I'm pretty sure they're not scratches, because there is one scratch and it looks nothing like these. You can tell they're there most with a white or light background.
I haven't found anything that explains these or why they happen. It doesn't seem like something physically caused them, more like a defect in the pixels. Anybody know about them or how to fix them? It seems like it keeps getting more and more, but I may be imagining that.
